Toulouse Olympique XIII lifted the Kingstone Press Championship Shield after a 44-14 win over Sheffield Eagles on Saturday.
However the scoreline doesn’t tell the whole story as in the early stages of the match, Sheffield were completely dominant and led 14-4 after a 32-minute hat-trick from Castleford Tigers-bound Garry Lo.
Mark Kheirallah had scored a 28 minute try for the hosts and the French side struck with two pivotal tries before the break from Stan Robin and Gavin Marguerite gave Toulouse a slender 16-14 lead.

Then two tries within the first 10 minutes of the second half from Rhys Curran and Paul Marcon, gave Olympique a little bit of breathing room.
Kheirallah then grabbed his second, before Anthony Marion, Constantine Mika and Tony Maurel all crossed in the final 15 minutes to seal the title for Toulouse.
