Leeds Rhinos 70-6 Featherstone Rovers

Lois Forsell scored a hat-trick of tries as Leeds Rhinos tightened their grip on top spot of the Women's Super League with a fine 70-10 home win over last year's grand finalists, Featherstone Rovers.

The Rhinos were 30-0 up at half time as Courtney Hill kicked nine goals from 13 attempts, as well as scoring a try herself for a 22-point haul.

Suze Hill and Caitlin Beevers also grabbed doubles, alongside four-pointers for Manina Spurr, Aimee Staveley, Charlotte Booth, Frankie Townend and Amy Johnson.

Tilly Churn bagged a consolation try for Rovers.

Castleford Tigers 40-10 York City Knights

Courtney Pointon marked her Super League debut with a hat-trick as Castleford Tigers beat York City Knightd 40-10 on home turf to pick up their fourth league win of the season.

Alex Wallace also bagged a brace for the Tigers, as tries from Ellena Powell and Ashleigh Hyde, as well as an Ellie Hendry goal for York proved to be in vain.

England's Katie Hepworth kicked for goals for Cas, while Maisie Burton, Lucy Eastwood and Jasmine Rowley tries added extra gloss to the scoreline.

St Helens 42-12 Bradford Bulls

St Helens kept up their chase for a top two spot as they enjoyed a 42-12 demolition of reigning champions, Bradford Bulls.

Captain Tara Jones and Lizzie Gladman each scored a brace as Mark Brennan’s side led 20-6 at half time.

Shona Hoyle opened the scoring for the Bulls but Saints hit back through Jones, Emily Rudge, Channy Crowl and Naomi Williams.

The second half saw Saints take control with further tries from the returning Faye Gaskin and Alex Simpson before Gladman and Jones completed their doubles.


Nottingham Outlaws picked up a comfortable 26-6 friendly win over Dearne Valley Bulldogs.
