Hull FC scored three tries in the space of six second-half minutes as they clinched a 39-20 victory over Widnes Vikings at the Halton Stadium.
The Black and Whites opened their try-scoring account in the ninth minute through Danny Washbrook, which was converted by Marc Sneyd, before Bureta Faraimo crossed to double their advantage.
Widnes fought back well and trailed by just four points at the break thanks to a try from Sam Wilde and four points from the boot of Tom Gilmore.
The second half started at a frenetic pace and Tom Olbison scored the first of his two tries, but Hull responded with a three-try burst - scored by Masi Matongo, Josh Griffin and Fetuli Talanoa - to take control.
Sneyd also landed a drop goal, Griffin touched down for his second and Jamie Shaul capped a great night for Hull with their seventh try.
