Tara isn’t just an official, she has signed for St Helens Ladies ahead of the 2018 Women’s Super League.
The number nine joined St Helens after being unlucky to miss out on the World Cup.
Jones previously played her rugby at Thatto Heath.
The young forward is seen as one of the future stars of the game both as a player and a match official.
Tara has also officiated in the Challenge Cup and at Wembley for Championship Schools – the curtain raiser to the Challenge Cup Final.
