Walne brothers among seven leaving Salford

Salford Red Devils have announced the departure of long-serving brothers Adam and Jordan Walne.

Adam, 26, and Jordan, 24, have made 75 and 55 appearances respectively for the club but will be among seven players leaving the Red Devils.

The club had earlier confirmed that Michael Dobson, Todd Carney and Olsi Krasniqi had made their final appearances and on Tuesday confirmed the release of youngsters Liam Bent and Connor Williams.

Salford chief executive Ian Blease said: "We'd like to thank all seven players for their services to the club.

"As a club, we'd like to wish each of them all the very best for the future."
