Rugby Football League mourns former GB players

The Rugby Football League are saddened by the news of the death of former Great Britain international players, Chris Hesketh and Ken Roberts.

Hesketh captained the 1974 Great Britain Lions, won the World Cup in 1972 and played for Wigan and Salford.

Roberts was a Great Britain tourist in 1966 and remains as Halifax’s most capped player. He also played for Swinton, Bradford, Rochdale and Salford.
